Running Programs

COUCH TO 5K – We will take you from any level of fitness and slowly build up your strength and endurance with a final goal of running 5km without stopping.

YOUR FIRST 10k, HALF or FULL MARATHON – If you are looking to step up a distance and run further than you have ever run, we will make sure you do it safely and minimise your risk of injury.

BEAT YOUR PB – With full time coaches at your service 7 days a week, we will help you with recovery, nutrition, injury prevention, strength and training to help you run faster.

ULTRA RUNNING – We can help you through your first or build you up to your longest Ultra Run. Each program is course specific to help you know what to expect on race day.

CORRESPONDENCE – A Training Peaks program written and monitored by your Coach for you to complete on days and times that suit your work and life schedule.

Sports Performance Membership $80 per week

The Sports Performance membership is the ultimate training package. This membership is for anyone who wants to take their fitness and running to the next level. This membership allows you pick and choose any sessions at any time for post race recovery, peak season and off season balance. Your full time coach will tailor your program to suit any fitness level and race distance, and you have full access to all areas at Davey Black Sports Performance.

The Coached Running membership delivers an individual training plan tailored to your current fitness levels and race goals. Every session is seen by your coach through your Training Peaks account. Programs are written to optimise your training time around your work/life requirements and race goals. You will have unlimited access to Running Club squad sessions and discounted access to the Davey Black Sports Performance centre.

Just Running $35 per week

The “Just Running” membership gives you unlimited access to all of the coached Running Club squad sessions. You will also receive discounted access to the Davey Black Sports Performance Fitness Studio, Yoga Studio and Recovery Room, as well as access to the Physiotherapist, Clinical Nutritionist and Sports Psychologist at 244 Glen Eira Rd, Elsternwick. This membership does not include a personalised program.

Tues 6:30pm - The Tan Maltese War Memorial (Strength) . | . Wed 6pm - Davey Black Sports Performance Studio to Caulfield Park warm up then session at Caulfield Park (Fartlek) | . Thurs 6am - Meet at the Tan zero marker then warm up over to Olympic Park Track (Speed) . | . Thurs 6:30pm - Duncan McKinnon Running Track (Speed or second run for the day easy endurance) . | . Sun 8am - Albert Park or Trail Run (Long Endurance Run)
